I would like to apologize for the rude harshness of my last post. Sorry, but do try to take a deeper look into the movie you might be surprised to see what you find.

I would just like to say whoever revived this movie is fucking moron, the movie was written and directed the way it was to hide the overall meaning of the movie. In all actuality it is one of the best films ever made, but most people are to dumb to see past the obvious and find the hidden meanings.

@Paul

Come on are you really going to complain that people are confused by what could easily be 'the most complicated movie ever made'?

Although I'm a little afraid to argue the logic of this movie. I'll ask you this... If 'the rock' is not from the dimension that most of the movie takes place in then when exactly did he move into that dimension? It when he was driven through the wormhole by an agent of the Baron who is featured in this '4th' dimension and in the '4th' dimension causes the time rift. Therefore creating what I'll call 'spiral logic' where when you go through a dimensional wormhole you are taken to a reality where everything is almost identical, but your name and back story have changed. So by that logic we are living in, say, about the 9th dimension where Roland Taverner and Boxer Santaros wake up on the set of 'The Rundown' and continue their story in our world...

*head bangs on desk*

The blogger has passed into a 10th dimensional vortex and the world has ended.

Thanks for this review. Nate, I'm also trying to convince my friends to see this movie also. I'm fascinated with it in a masochisitc way. It really is like no other movie that I've ever seen. Not in a bad or good way. Just in a Way.

I loved the movie as well. Try actually watching the movie and paying attention. I know this movie has gotten really bad reviews, but morons wouldn't get it. YOUR whole review shows confusion. I could answer almost all you questions, and I only saw the movie one time. Try watching the movie again, with those questions in mind, and tell me HOW you don't understand it. On top of that, why would you get on here to write a review of something you do not get. Pay attention to the beginning of the movie, when Justin Timberlake is EXPLAINING EVERYTHING! Or how about the "screen play" the Rock and Gellar wrote...hmmm kinda sounded like THE F'N MOVIE YOU WERE WATCHING...this movie was explained ATLEAST 5 or 6 times alone DURING this movie..you WANTED to be confused, you WANTED to NOT like this movie. Its obvious. I loved it. I will say this. I wouldnt recommend it to a moron (or someone who NEEDS everything handed to them)...i see where the director is comming from. "if you dont understand it, dont like it", but the people who will understand it, love it. Try doing some drugs or something and opening up your mind. il end it with this for you. They showed you a non existant 4th dimension, the Rock was not from that dimension, hence his confustion the whole time.But, you seemed like the confused one.

no, i only saw a ripped copy a few weeks ago. i'd been talking to some friends about sitting down a watching it at some point. i feel like the only reason i would say no to watching it again (on the condition that it was with people who hadn't seen it) was the length. Other than that, the scenes are just so strange, I found it mesmerizing wondering why someone thought this would make a good/semi-coherent movie.

I guess my only question is is it worth seeing again, even for "my gosh it was awful" reasons? I'll guess no, but I notice that your review mentions the Blu-Ray version, and I would've expected you saw it sometime before that was available. The YouTube clips were surprisingly entertaining, but probably not in the context of the movie.
